CodVed Technologies is an IT and software innovation company inspired by Indian knowledge and wisdom, and built for organisations around the world.

What the name means

CodVed is code and Ved together. Ved comes from the Sanskrit root vid, which means “to know”.

The idea is simple. Knowledge is what lets us understand a problem. Code is how that understanding becomes something people can use. We try to keep both in balance: study first, build carefully, and keep the result as clear as the thinking behind it.

Classical Sanskrit scholarship, such as the grammar of Pāṇini, is remembered for expressing a great deal in short, exact rules. That is a standard we admire in software too: compact, precise, and easy to reason about.
